Vintage Cragston Twin Flying Helicopter Battery Operated with Box WORKS! RARE!

Description: This is a very cool vintage Twin Flying Helicopter model N. 2515-2 made by Cragston. I think this is from the 1960's. This set overall is in pretty nice condition. The toy itself is in excellent working condition and is pretty clean. This set doesn't appear to have been played with very much. The battery compartment is clean. The only item I see is missing is the cargo base that holds the crate. After assembly, the two helicopters fly around the base and move in an up and down circling pattern and the operator uses the speed control to control the downward swoop to hook the cargo container. Very challenging. The helicopters are a little finicky to get to work, you need to ply a little with the contact area where the helicopters cross shaft inserts into the control tower, but once they are going, the motors run nice and strong! The instructions are printed on the inside of the lid.The airport scene is made of somewhat fragile paper, It displays nicely, but I had to do some repairs on the paper resulting from a puncture would in the box bottom (see photos) from before I acquired it many years ago. The repairs turned our pretty nice and the graphics look good from the top as you can tell from the photos..The box is intact and in pretty nice condition. The colors are bright and the graphics have a nice '60's look. There is one small hole in the lid just in front of the yellow copter and an interior repair as previously mentioned.I think this s a very cool toy. In researching it, I find very little info on it or any indication of one being sold. I believe it to be a very rare or hard to find item!A great addition to your battery operated, airplane, helicopter or vintage toy collection.I want all customers to be satisfied with their purchase.
