Description: This is a vintage Kingmakers Henry VIII Chess Set. I don’t know a lot about this chess set as there’s little to no information I could find on the internet. There is writing on the inside of the lid that states “Henry VIII chess set retailed by Game Peddler (Texas) at $975.00 in 1982 Game Peddler inventory bought out by Value City in 1983. Value City then sold it for $399.99.” The pieces look to be hand painted. They have some wear on them but look really nice overall. They have velvet bottoms and all pieces have 1980 MHC engraved on them. The king is around 4.75 inches tall. The box is not in the best shape and has been written on and has a few holes poked through it but is structurally strong.
