Description: This Martin reel is highly collectable and is in good "pre-owned" condition for its age. It is vintage 1930 - 1940s. The patent was filed in in 1937 and granted in 1939. Without thorough testing, the reel seems to be in working order. My grandfather was an avid fisherman and collector of interesting and valuable things. This came from his personal collection.
