Description: Schwinn rear wheel with S-2 rim, Atom drum brake, 5 speed Schwinn-Approved freewheel, and Schwinn 26x2.125 studded balloon whitewall tire. Heavy gauge spokes. I believe that this rear wheel was used on the Spitfire, Klunker 5, and Crusier 5 bicycles. It would also be nice for the rear wheel of a repack clunker build. I've listed this as used, but the wheel and tire appear to be NOS. The tire still has the mold nubs on the top of the tread, there is no sign of chain wear on the freewheel, and the hub, spokes, and rim show no wear consistent with use. There is some grime and minor spotting on the chrome from long term storage. I have photograped the worst of it and expect that it will clean up with minimal effort. Condition is otherwise as new.
