Description: Vintage Hardcover dated 1945 book WHEN WE WERE VERY YOUNG by A. A. Milne, beautifully illustrated, poems written by the author of Winnie The Pooh books. In overall very good condition for its age, Binding is tight, book is straight, measures approx. 8" high x 5 1/2" wide. 100 pages, no writing, overall clean and neat. Pages are not straightcut, have a slight serrated edge on paper that is unique to books this age. The bottom right corners on the index pages have a slightly angled corner, I don't think they were cut off, it's very small but looks like done in the page making process. Please check pictures and judge for yourself. Doesn't seem important, makes it look unique, but check it out. This well loved book has been well cared for, no odors from a non-smoking home.
