Description: None others like these to be found. Offered are a pair of vintage pre-owned Wiss Inlaid No 20 forged steel 10" industrial heavy duty scissors, with modified blunted tip, made in the USA. Tips were professionally trimmed and shaped years ago to permit easier navigation through, and cutting of, thick and tough material. These scissors are well-suited to cutting upholstery fabric, carpet backing, rubber sheet, gasket material, sheet leather, and so on. In fact, they make you want to tackle those sorts of materials, just to see that you can! They are sharp and they are strong--not school scissors. Blades measure 4 inches, overall length of the pair is 9 1/2 inches, weight is 11 ounces. The nut at the pivot is 7/16 inch and will turn to loosen and tighten. Scissors are clean, not engraved or personalized in any way, and pivot smoothly. Note that scissors do show some staining to their blades, also some insignificant dents and dings.
