Description: The item is sold as is, as found, and as you see it. The sale is for a small pottery or ceramic cup with small plate with a white stallion on hind legs on a pedestal with a green muted white background. Probably hand glazed and painted. The cup and plate features same horse design. The cup is white inside and underside and underside of plate. It may be made of red clay or terra cotta underbody. Good condition with no chips/cracks and has age related issues. The cup has a divot flaw in the glaze near horse showing red pottery and a smaller one underneath. There are other pinholes in glaze as well: made that way. When you turn cup in the light, the green areas could show a silvery lead color in glaze as well as plate. The cup is stamped on underside, hard to read but may be Austria. cannot read anything else. Bleeding in green glaze on underside ridge. The plate's underside has sticky residue and may be stamp marks in teh white glaze, cannot read. Some dark sides underneath. Shelfwear. Flaws in glaze in ceramic with spots dots lumps and bumps. May have other issues not mentioned but mentioned most significant. Cup: 2 5/8" X 2.75". Plate is 4".
