Description: Vintage blue Olivetti Ivrea (Underwood) Lettera 32 manual typewriter with case. Missing Cover and Ribbon. All keys strike and none of them seem to stick. Carriage moves back and forth and does advance when the key Strikes. It Needs a ribbon to test how the keys hit, but from looking at it from the side when a key strikes it look like it meets the roller. This manual typewriter is an Olivetti - Ivrea / Made in Italy as it is marked on the backside and has a serial number of 2208064. Interesting fact: In October of 1963 Olivetti totally merged Underwood into a newly formed Olivetti-Underwood Corp (no longer named Olivetti - Ivrea) This typewriter is missing the dust cover - as you will see in the pictures. Case has a broken zipper and handle. Missing screw that holds side plate in place (I have circled it in one of the pictures) I am not sure if someone would want to use this the way it is - since it seems to work, or just for parts, that is your choice. I am sure overall it needs a good cleaning/servicing. Being sold as is since it is missing parts. eBay tends to overcharge on heavy boxes. Any overage paid will be refunded once the shipping label has been generated.
