For smaller quantities of gel, 1 teaspoon of the water crystals will absorb approximately 1 cup of water. Just place the crystals in a large bowl and add water. Wait 30 minutes or so and you will have beautiful ice looking crystals.If there is excess water, simply strain the water off. Never flush or pour polymer crystals or gel down the drain. Polymer swelling could possibly clog drain pipes. To dispose of used polymer crystals or polymer gel simply pour into flower beds, garden or mix with potting soil. Crystal Polymer Gel is a non-toxic polymer that will not harm your plants, grass or soil. The crystals are a medium grade (.8-2.0mm in size).
