In the 1970’s (1978, 1979-ish), Waterford first offered an annual ornament. In 1982, they offered the Partridge ornament. In 1983 and 1984, they offered ornaments (1984 - lamppost). In 1985 they returned to complete the 12 days series. Each ornament comes in the original box and velvet keepsake bag. Six ornaments have the original gray brochure you can see in the photos). Some have the authentic green and gold foil label, Every ornament has also been etched “Waterford”. 1995 has a card board sleeve The ornaments are small in size, measuring no more than 3 inches some are smaller, each is 3/8” thick. This original set was manufactured in Ireland between 1982 and 1995 making the set a timeless piece. This set is part of my personal collection. I have listed a few other Waterford an ornaments.
