Description: A good working pair of hollow and round molding planes. The round plane was made by the Greenfield Tool Co, Greenfield, MA, 1851-1883 and marked '14' on the heel. The hollow plane was made by the Auburn Tool, Co, Auburn, NY, 1864-1893, and marked '16' on the heel. Both irons are 1 1/4" wide, the round iron is marked 'warranted' but the maker's mark is unreadable. Both planes are in good usable condition with minor scratches and blemishes expected on tools over 100 years old; the toe of the round has a minor crack at the throat. The wedges are in good condition with some minor edge bruising. The round plane has the maker's imprint on the toe and the No. 368 and '14' on the heel. The hollow has the maker's imprint on the toe and 'No. 180' and '16' on the heel. NO OWNER STAMPS. The round plane is 9 9/16" long and the hollow is 9 1/2" long.
