Description: This is an Old Original Rare 1866 Philadelphia Cud Mint Error Three 3 Cent Copper Nickel Civil War Era Coin. Please see the scans for details and condition. This has Lady Liberty on the front and a Roman 3 on the back. Also on the reverse is the error which is a cud on the middle right side which is extra metal because of, at the Mint, a broken coin die that was chipped and so did not fully strike the coin. This 3 cent denomination was an experiment by the US Treasury and was minted for public use around the years of the Civil War. The coin in the scans is the actual coin you will receive. Multiple wins combined to save on shipping. Please see my other coin and currency auctions.
